Brenda Carney Stringer

Brenda Carney Stringer, of Foxworth, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the age of 53. She was born in Marion County where she remained a lifelong resident. Brenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She will be remembered as a kind, caring person who would always take time out of her life for someone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Bertha Carney; and a brother, Charles Carney. Brenda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Harold Stringer. Two sons, Brandon Stringer and wife, Tabbatha, and Derek Stringer; a sister-in-law, Alicia Stringer; three grandchildren, Michael Stringer, Santana Stringer, and Bradley Stringer; and a daughter-in-law, Leona Stringer. There will be a funeral service for Brenda at 11:00am on Friday, February 7, 2020 in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home with a visitation from 9:00am until service time. Reverend Willie Martin will officiate the service and burial will follow in the Travis “Nub” Stringer family cemetery assisted by Brandon Stringer, Derek Stringer, Carroll Stringer, Lucus Stringer, Bobby Bedwell, Justin Bates, Andy Stringer, and Michael Stringer serving as pallbearers.
