Brenda Sue Thornhill Madison

Brenda Sue Thornhill Madison, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 64. She was born in Columbia to Glen and Kay Thornhill and has remained a lifelong resident of Marion County. Brenda loved time with her grandchildren and enjoyed playing Word Trip on her phone. She was feisty and will be remembered for her great sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Thornhill; a grandson, Caden Madison; daughter-in-law, Sharlene Madison; and a nephew Don Glen Thornhill. Brenda is survived by two sons, Jamie Rowley (Crystal) and Johnny Glen “Buck” Madison; her mother, Kay F. Thornhill; a brother, David Glen Thornhill; three grandchildren, Tyler Rowley, Coby Rowley, and Jackson Rowley; a niece, Amber Thornhill (Kevin Hansen); a great-niece Kamryn Lackey; and a great-nephew, Kaleb Thornhill.

There will be a visitation for Brenda at Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Randy Buchanan, will be in the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She will be laid to rest in Richland Creek Church of God Cemetery.
