Sharon was a beautiful person who loved music, poetry, gardening, and playing with her grandchildren. She was an accomplished musician and served her church as pianist and organist for over 40 years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was born to Edna Opal Davidson Fisher and George Wayne Fisher in Lovington NM on March 4, 1940. Upon graduating high school in Tyrone Oklahoma, Sharon attended two years of college before becoming a dental hygienist.
She was united in marriage to Dr. Peter M. Orr on November 9, 1968.
She is survived by her husband Peter, daughter Holly Monroe (Mark), son Aaron Orr (Tara), grandsons Charles and George Monroe, and Autrey and Vaughn Orr, sister Faye Costner, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother George Fisher.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM, Sunday October 6, 2024, at Memorial Baptist Church, 1634 Paris Rd, Columbia MO.
