Patricia Ann Marie Estabrook, 90 of Topeka, Kansas, living in Columbia, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri with her daughter by her side. Honoring her wishes, there will be no public service.
Pat was born on March 17, 1933 in Herrington, Kansas the daughter of the late Charles P Boren and Emily Leona (Barrie) Boren.
Pat built a successful career as a Manager of a key punch department at Blue Cross Blue Shield and a Secretary at Martin Tractor, a Caterpillar Dealer, where she was a member of “Women in Construction.” She was a dedicated worker. As a single mother she was tireless in providing for her two children through all their shenanigans. She single handedly guided, and formed them into the adults they are today. For Pat, family was everything and her family is forever grateful for all she gave them. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and doing genealogy research. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her daughter: Sheri (Kerry) Taylor of Sturgeon, Missouri, and her son Jon (Tracy) Estabrook of Fort Collins, Colorado. Pat has two grandchildren, Lindsay (John) Cordia of Columbia, Missouri and, Michael (Maggie) Parker of Shawnee, Kansas. She has three great grandchildren whom were her pride and joy. James and Kate live in Columbia Missouri. She and her great granddaughter Charlotte, showed us the circle of life as Pat transitioned shortly before Charlotte entered our world the same day. She is survived in death by her sister, Mary Burton and preceded in death by her siblings: Edith MacFarlane, Glen Boren, Charles Boren, and Margarite Haley.
