Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held privately by family.
He was born in Kankakee, IL on October 31, 1946. He graduated from Hickman High School in 1964. Mark was married to Paula Wirth in Columbia and they celebrated 49 years together in November. He had a passion for reading, motorcycles, traveling, and his grandson’s sports.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Wesley and Doris Ethel Crawford and his brother James.
He is survived by his wife Paula; son Andrew Crawford; special extended family Hope (Jan) McCrary; grandsons Brent and Ethan McCrary; siblings Jean (Don) Bittner and Linda (Dick) Rybacki; sister-in-law Pat Lawrence and brother-in-law Phil Wirth; niece Sharon Bittner and nephew Tim (Tarala) Rybacki; and many nieces and nephews that live in Kansas City, Atlanta, Florida and South Carolina.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses, and therapists at Rusk-Healthcare South and nurses and staff at The Bluffs for their wonderful care, Compassus Hospice, and the doctors and nurses that took care of him at University Hospital.
