Lisa Londeree (Buening), 52, of Maryland Heights, MO (formerly St Louis and Columbia, MO) passed away on January 19, 2022. A memorial service is planned in the future at a time and place to be determined.
Lisa was born December 18, 1969 in Columbia, MO to Carolyn and Gerald “Jerry” Buening. In her early years she was quite the baton twirler winning a Missouri state title in 1986. She graduated from Rock Bridge HS in 1988 and went on to Purdue University where she completed a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1992 and while teaching completed a master’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1999. She taught first grade and kindergarten in the Rockwood and Parkway school districts for many years. Lisa had a real talent and passion for teaching, especially teaching reading and took great pride in seeing her students grow and succeed. Lisa also was a free spirit, loved animals (especially cats) and very much liked country music.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Buening; brother, Vincent (Delfina) Buening of Pinckney, MI, and children Suzanne and Kathryn Londeree. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald “Jerry” Buening.
