I made it I’m in Heaven with Dad, and what an amazing trip! I had the privilege of being Wife, Mom and Grandma, I was a stay at home Mom for you because you matter, family matters and home matters. As family and friends gather to remember me and say good bye hold on to the good times and the happy memories. Cherish every moment, love one another and show kindness to those around you.

We are so proud of each of you and our legacy continues with our children and grandchildren: Son Jack Beard Jr., daughters Mylinda (Tobin) Lanzl, Rebecca “Beckie” (Carl) Evans and Lisa Martin. Grandchildren, Austyn-Marie Hollowell, Zechariah “Cole” (Courtney) Macbeth, Ethan Evans; brother, Albert “Skeet” (Sheri) Cagle, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and the great-grandchildren yet to come!
JoAnn was born to Randall Rowe Cagle and Lucy Ellen (Franklin) Cagle on February 15, 1942 in Wichita KS.
Waiting in heaven for JoAnn was Jack, her loving husband of 43 years, both of her parents Randall and Lucy Cagle, one brother Randy Cagle, and daughter-in-law Rebecca (McNew) Beard.
The children of JoAnn will honor their Mom with a visitation for on Friday May 19th from 10am-11am at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West in Columbia, MO. Jack retired from the United States Marine Corps after 30 years of service, because Jack enlisted JoAnn also served; their military service will be honored on Friday May 19th at 2pm at the State Veterans Cemetery 1479 County Rd 1675 in Jacksonville, MO where they will be buried together with full military honors.
JoAnn & Jack volunteered in their church tutoring and working with children in after school programs, as well as helping anyone less fortunate with food, clothing, and basic needs. Memorial contributions are suggested to Coyote Hill Children’s Home, Rainbow House or a charitable organization of your choice.
