Debbie was born in Pennsylvania but moved as a child to Pocahontas, Arkansas. Debbie met her first husband, Craig Stevens, while away at college. She earned her Master’s Degree in Business with an emphasis on Accounting while attending The University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO.
Debbie is preceded in death by her first husband, Craig Stevens, and her daughter Kathryn.
Three short years ago, Debbie married Everett Pilkington and had plans to travel with Everett once retired. Attending car shows and traveling Route 66 was something that they enjoyed doing together.
Debbie was a friend to many and she shall never be forgotten. She loved being a step-mom to Tisha, Sandy, Shawn, and Cassandra and adored, unconditionally, her step-grandchildren, Dreylin and Lyric.
Debbie was the Finance Director for OATS Transit where she was an integral part of the OATS operation. She will be deeply missed by her OATS family.
Funeral services for Debbie will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, MO on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Debbie’s Life at 11:00 a.m.
As Debbie had a passion for the St. Louis Cardinals and Mickey and Minnie Mouse, we are encouraging people to wear Cardinal gear or anything associated with Mickey and Minnie Mouse to honor what she loved in life.
