Charlotte Gaither, 69, of Columbia, MO passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 in Columbia, MO. Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home 1217 Business Loop 70 West Columbia, MO. Funeral Service is 11am, Wednesday, February 15 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church 914 West Blvd Columbia, MO; burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery Fayette, MO.
Charlotte was born October 16, 1947 in Fayette, MO to Lilburn and Anna Gallemore Hawkins. She was an active member of the St. Andrew’s Lutheran church; participating in many Bible studies and several other church activities and events. She enjoyed nature walks, and exercising, and she enjoyed classical music and especially the St. Olaf Choir.
She is survived by her children, Kerry (Ben) Duff of Independence, MO and Mark Gaither of Columbia; siblings, Joan Basinger of Boonville, Bonnie Agnew of Fayette, John Hawkins of Cape Coral, FL, and Betty Strange of East Falmouth, MA. Her husband Ronald Gaither; son, Bryan Gaither; sister, Delores Hammond; and her parents preceded her in death.
