The oldest of eleven children, Bill was born August 17th, 1942 to the late Frank and Lucille (Nowlin) Bradshaw in Columbia, MO. He graduated from Hickman High School and served in the U.S. Army, Vietnam War as an SP5 in the transportation division. Bill was married to Lona VanVacter on June 17, 1961 whom he met through a mutual high school friend in 1960. He was a carpenter by trade, and enjoyed making custom wood furniture and collecting coins.
Bill is survived by his wife, Lona; daughter, Kimberly Bradshaw; son, Joseph Bradshaw; grandson, Andy McCully; brothers, Frankie, Jackie, Michael and Daniel Bradshaw; sisters, Sheila McClintock and Sarah Kiefer as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leslie, Kevin and David Bradshaw and sister, Wanda Bradshaw.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with graveside services starting at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
