Thomas Scott Duerr, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024 while recovering from a bone marrow transplant.
Tom was originally from Rochester, New York where he met his wife Marian. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 17th of this year. Tom is also survived by his two daughters and five grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
Tom and Marian had recently relocated to Maryland after starting their retirement years in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Tom was a devoted friend and trusted counselor, known for his generosity and commitment to others. He will be missed dearly but is at peace with our Lord Jesus.
A memorial service will be held at Pawley's Island Presbyterian Church, 9967 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island, SC 29585 on October 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
