June Wallace, 87 of Columbia, Maryland died on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Harmony Hall in Columbia. She was an only child, born on May 16, 1926 in Washington, D.C. to the late Harvey Elliott and Gertrude Hume.
She married Wyatt Wallace in 1947. They moved to Chillum, Maryland where June devoted her time working in human resources for the Federal Government, raising their two sons and one daughter, and always meeting the needs of her husband. She and her husband would enjoy weekend trips to Atlantic City, NJ.
She had a bright smile, a warm laugh, and a heart for dogs - especially her five Pugs. Her husband preceded her in death in 1997. Survivors include her three children, Wyatt Jr. of Jessup, Maryland, Ross of Sykesville, Maryland, and Wendy (Charles) Colross of Jessup, Maryland. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Lindsey (Ron) Crowe and C.J. of Jessup.
