Thomas W. Owens, beloved husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, passed away at the age of 83 on June 2, 2021. Tom was born on February 21, 1938, in Lucien, Oklahoma, later moving to California in 1965. Once in California, Tom spent a majority of his career in the building industry and later became a real estate broker. Tom and his late wife, Virginia, loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. When not travelling, they dedicated themselves to entertaining their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by hosting family get-togethers for every occasion. Tom was pre-deceased by his wife of 41 years, Virginia Owens, and his step-daughter, Abbe Rohr. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Valles (Mike) of Menifee, CA; sons, Mark Owens (Kathy) and Mike Owens (Debbie) of Highland, CA, and Mitch Owens (Kathy) of Peoria, AZ; step-daughter, Gina Lee (Bill) of Yucaipa, CA; 13 granddaughters; and 7 great-grandchildren. Tom left a lasting impression in all of our hearts and will be forever missed and loved. Graveside services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11:30 am.
