To my oldest friend, Foofer Mc Nally.
 You are in my earliest childhood memories. Even  from before kindergarten at McKinley. Growing up side by side is something I wouldn't change or do any different. With your brothers and mine we had the best of times. We used to spend every day in summer together from sun up, till my mom would whistle for me to come home. Just a couple of kids living life as if there were no end. Getting picked on by our older brothers and picking on the ones younger than us. As we got older the good times kept us going, you kept us going. There was never a time we didn't laugh. Going to San Diego to visit Alex or taking a trip to big bear with Walley or just hanging out with you in the front was always the best. You will be missed my brother,  I love you and always have.

It saddens me knowing you’re not in this world anymore. We shared many firsts together, including parenthood. We were children having children, gave it our best shot but we were just kids who didn’t know better. However, thanks to you I have two of the most important people in my life. Our daughters Celeste and Cassandra are wonderful young women; intelligent, compassionate, kind, beautiful inside and out. I know you are as proud of them as I am. They have so many of your physical characteristics but what is not visible to others, are the personality traits they inherited from you. They both have your sense of humor, your protective nature, sense of adventure, wondering spirit, love for music, your stubbornness (thanks for that one), that Ventura laugh, and that beautiful smile of yours that could make anyone smile. I hope you can now see, feel and understand how much they love you. Your loss has been devastating for them, I’m trying my best to support them and will continue to do so. Feeling close to your family has given them a sense of closeness to you, and healing over the grief they are experiencing. I’m very thankful to the Ventura family for that. Please keep watching over them, keep sending them reminders of their daddy’s love for them, and guide them when they need you.

Rest Easy my lil brother… I got to see you grow up along side of me and Steven. Damn you guys would bug the hell out of us but that’s what lil brothers do… 
I was always mad cus my parents just had me and Steven but your family took us in like one of you guys and our family the same for you and bam! I had a huge family full of brothers and sisters! 
The brotherhood we shared amongst us was special not many people have that today. 
I got to see you at one your happiest moments in life when you introduced me to your first daughter and told her this is your tio bubba mija. 
You were a warrior for your family and always had their back.
I wanted see you during Christmas but it would have never happened due to these circumstances… 
I love you my lil brother until we meet again Foofer!

Wow where can I start me and Robert go way back McKinley elementary. He always thoughtmy dad was cool.. I remember my brother Tommy was friends with Anthony Ventura and me and Robert where friends... It was crazy... Robert was one crazy and fun person to be around...I went to Elementary junior high high school with Robert... I would see Robert around by my parents yard sales on Pennsylvania Avenue he would say hi to them always had that smile 😊 he even came to my house when we had a yard sale.. and talked.. I'm sorry my dear friend... God has called you... watch over your family... your love by many and will never be forgotten 🙏🙏🦋🦋

He was one of the coolest uncles ever, he protected the whole family and was a true warrior. There are so many memories we had with him, words can’t express how grateful I was to know him, he was a bright light always. We love you and I know you’re looking down on us and walking by us. Fly high King 🥺🫶🏻🦋

First love ❤️ I’m so sorry dad. I will see you soon to say my last physical words that I can to you in this life. I know my sister and I have always been on your mind, I know you are will us all now. ❤️ I’m sorry we didn’t get to know each other better in this life, but I’ll always remember you as my first love ❤️ 

The moment I met you , you never left my side , you blessed me with the greatest gift of life , our son. Truly giving me your heart and that could never be replaced. Every moment I look at our son he’ll be the reminder of your loving soul. Thought the good times and the bad you’d always find your way home , it hurts to know there will be no more knocks on the door or yells “boogie” your memory will not be forgotten. Watch over our baby and I hope you knew how much we love you, my heart hurts knowing your gone. Our son misses you so much ❣️

My prayers go out to Roberts Kids and his family, My heart is really sadden to hear of Roberts passing . He was a sweet and loving soul I owe some of the best times of life to him. What would I give to hear him yell at the top of lungs  "Poona " and smile. The Metro, Hollywood, all nightery from sun up to sun down dancing. To  last minute drives to the beach and just talking about life . I will miss you to pieces.  Love you forever!!!
