Phyllis was born in San Bernardino and lived in Colton for 85 years until she moved to Yucaipa in 2009.
Being surrounded by family was one of the most important things in Phyllis's life. She loved serving in the Temple of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She also loved "The Lakers" and enjoyed golf, genealogy, jigsaw puzzles, reading and most sport events.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold David Preece. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Bough (Lynn), Lynne Behunin (Paul) and her son David Preece (Jan). Two sisters, Dorothy Adams and Barbara Doying (Ray), 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other family members and friends. She was much loved and will be truly missed by everyone.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 301 East Avenue L, Calimesa, CA. There will be a viewing from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. with a family viewing from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA.
