Fort Mohave, AZ- Michael A. Vasquez, 75 passed away on 10/28/2022. He was born August 7, 1947 in San Bernardino, Ca. He was the son of Catarino and Lupe Vasquez.
Michael graduated from Redlands High School in 1965. Following graduation, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After serving in the war, he worked for Southern California Edison. Michael married the love of his life Dolores in 1980. They had just celebrated 49 years together.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren Brittany Gabbard and Michael Vasquez Jr, and his son-in-law Jimmy Olson. Surviving family include his wife Dolores Vasquez of Fort Mohave, Az; and his children; Michael-Anne Vasquez of San Bernardino, Ca; Mario Santoscoy of Rialto, Ca; Eve Vasquez-Olson of Yucaipa, Ca; Ruben Santoscoy of Fort Mohave, Az; Annette Vasquez-Lira and her husband Michael of Rialto, Ca;.13 grandchildren Jeffrey Barner; Justin Barner; Joshua Gabbard; Amanda Gabbard: Angus Patton: Angel Peters; Jasmine Santoscoy; Marina Santoscoy; Aaron Santoscoy; Justine Lira; Gianna Lira; Juliana Lira; Jenna Lira. 2 great grandchildren Ella May Gabbard; Matthew Conine; one brother Daniel B. Vasquez and his wife Juanita of Antioch, Ca.
The family will be gathering for a celebration of life reception, following the burial from 12:30p-4:30p at the VFW 2018 Foothill Blvd, San Bernardino, CA 92410
A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 2, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 115 W Olive Ave, Redlands, CA 92373. A committal service will occur Friday, December 2, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
