Helen Martinez

Helen Martinez, 54 years old of Colton, California passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Redlands Community Hospital. Helen was born on September 15, 1957 to Oscar and Tillie Rodriguez. She graduated from Colton High School in 1975, then married her high school sweetheart, Manuel "Manny" Martinez on June 21, 1975. She is preceded in death by her father, Oscar Rodriguez and is survived by her husband, Manny, son, Timothy DeWitt and daughter, Jamie Guzevich. Also her mother, Tillie Rodriguez, brothers, Armando Rodriguez, Michael (Jane) Rodriguez and sister, Margie, (Wesley) Keelin. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and more friends than one can count.

The Department of Motor Vehicles was Helen's calling, having worked for the agency for over 30 years. During this time, Helen had made numerous friends all special and dear to her heart.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, beginning with 10 a.m. rosary. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Colton.
