Charles Burris, 77 years old of Colton, California passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Brookside Health Care in Redlands, California. He was born on May 7, 1937 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to Cyrus and Alice Burris. He is survived by his loving wife, Caridad and their daughters, Kim Burris and Kara Chan. Also his loving grandchildren, Jason Burris, Kamara Williams and Kennedy Haythorne.
Charles retired as a Captain with the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department and was with them for 37 years.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 4-8 p.m., at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 10 a.m., 1575 W. 17th St., San Bernardino, California, followed by burial at Montecito Memorial Park.
Charles will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
