Vera Jamison

Vera, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on November 6, 2011 at the age of 89. She was born on August 22, 1922 in Keota, Iowa to the late Glessi and Bertha Rhodebeck.

Vera married Frank Jamison on December 8, 1944 in Oskaloosa, IA. They were happily married for almost 67 years. Frank was the love of her life. After his retirement they traveled to many places in the United States as well as foreign countries. She loved her Lord and enjoyed serving Him in many capacities at Roswell Community Church. She also treasured spending time with her grandchildren, pulling weeds on the “back bank” and spending time with her family and friends.

Vera is survived by her husband, Frank, sons John (Carolyn), Dan (Terry) and Mike (Sheila). She is also survived by her brother, Keith Rhodebeck, 9 grand children, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Rhodebeck.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 9, from 12:00-1:00 pm at Roswell Community Church, with funeral services starting at 1:00 pm at the church. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
