Rosemarie Johnson

Rosemarie was born on May 25, 1931, to Italian immigrants, Anna and Giuseppe Martucci, who settled in Brooklyn NY, with their four daughters. She met her husband, Ernest Stanford Johnson, in Long Branch NJ. They married on D-Day, June 6, 1953. They resided in NJ until finally settling down in Manitou Springs, CO.

Family was everything to Rose. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, cook, and a Life Master bridge player.

Rose is survived by her son, Michael Martucci, her three grandchildren, Phillip Martucci and Lindzey Martucci - Buswell, and April Johnson, three great grandchildren, Isabella Martucci, Leo Martucci and Soleil Martucci Buswell, her niece Linda Stanton and her son. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest, and her two sons, Victor Johnson and Stephen Johnson.

A closed casket Visitation and Reception for Rosemarie will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
