Rose Virgene Nolan

Virgie, as her friends and family called her, was born July 18, 1932 on the family farm in Atwood, Kansas. She lived most of her life with her husband and family in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Nolan Jr., and daughter Carla Brekke, her parents Carl and Edith Morgan, brothers John Morgan (Josephine), sisters Carlene Morgan, Mary Catherine Keating (John) , Jodie Feist (Frank).

She is survived by her brother Col. Harvey Morgan (Marilyn), sons Charles R Nolan III (Blanca), Tom Nolan (Paul Meyer), Tim Nolan (Carol), Pat Nolan (Sharon), Richard Nolan (Janet), Brad Nolan (John Sims) and daughters Pamela Griebel (Joseph), Jane Gravelle (Dale), Mary Ann Yeager (Pat), and 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will celebrate the life of this remarkable woman during a Service of Remembrance (Rosary) at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home on March 9th at 6:30 PM and a Memorial Mass at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church on Thursday, March 10th at 11 AM.
