Dear Doug, Pat and Plamondon family- I am so sorry for your loss.  
I had the pleasure of meeting Roland on several occasions...  What I remember is a kind and gentle man- never without a smile on his face.

Dear Pat, Dennis, Danny and Doug. I'm so saddened by your loss. I have the fondest memories of your family. I'll never forget Roland's happy demeanor and enthusiasm. His good mood was contagious. My sympathy and heart go out to all who knew Roland and I'm thinking of the Plamondon family especially Doug my dear friend and Pat. I had the privilege of spending time with Roland on a few occasions surrounded by friends and family on vacation. His struggle was visible but what you saw more was a man with the finest qualities; grace, determination, intelligence, humor, patience and love... Dear Pat, Dennis & family, Danny and Doug,
We are devastated to hear that Roland has died.  He and Pat have been our friends and traveling companions for over 40 years.  We went to all of their children & our children's graduations and weddings.  We took approx. 10 cruises together.  We went to Hawaii, New York, Florida, Tennesee, New Orleans, Calif. and Las Vegas together to name a few. We remember Roland as a young man being so handsome Pat was always joking about the ladies who were trying to steal her husband.  Roland & Pat were always the best dancers on the floor.  He was the most intelligent, friendly and marvelous man.  He was so kind and loving with his son's.  He adored his wife and loved her unconditionally.  He was our greatest friend.  We love and miss you.

We were saddened to learn that Roland has died.  We remember fondly the years when he and Claude worked together and we became friends.  Our hearts go out to each of you and your families and we are praying that you find comfort from our Lord. Fondly,  Claude and Belva

Dear Doug, Mrs. Plamondon, Dennis and Danny:

I am so sorry for you loss of your father and husband. When Doug called me the other day and told me of his father passing I was so saddened but I also felt joy of remembering and meeting Roland. I have such fond memories of the Caribbean Cruses we all took together. The trip to New Orleans, Disney World and visiting Colorado Springs for the first time. Your Dad was apart of all these trips and visits. Roland was easy going joy to be around.

I am so sorry for the passing of you dad and father. I have such wonderful memories of spending time with your Dad. Such as my first visit to Colorado Springs, our trips to Disney World and stay at the Wilderness Lodge and the Caribbean Cruses we all took together. You Dad was there the whole way and was such a trooper and such a joy to be with.
