She was born in Los Sauces, Colorado on December 27, 1944. The youngest of 6. The family moved from the San Luis Valley to Palmer Lake, Colorado where they lived until 1956 when they moved to Colorado Springs. Ramona graduated in 1964 from Palmer High School. She lived her life in Colorado Springs at Crescent Homes for over 25 years, where they treated her like family. Nancy and Family thank you.
Ramona biggest hobby was reading the bible and going for walks.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Alberto) Dela Virgen, Noel Cordova, 6 grandchildren, Faith Marie Dela Virgen, Alberto Tomas Dela Virgen, David Michael Dela Virgen, Ruben Gabriel Perez, Alejandro Manuel Perez, Isabella Franics Perez, sisters Shirlene Francois, Sarah Baker and Lorraine Martinez, sisters in law Alice Cordova and Doris Cordova as well many nieces and nephews.
Ramona is preceded in passing by her parents Frank and Ida Cordova, brothers Levi Cordova and Jesus Cordova.
She will be greatly missed. Be in peace and safely in the hands of the Lord grandma, we love you!
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910, with Funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m., Ramona will be laid to rest with her parents at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Reception to follow, location to be announced.
