Paulette passed away peacefully at the hospital in Colorado Springs on December 7, 2022, at the age of 58. She was baptized, went to school, and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Leigh, NE. Paulette attended Leigh High School and went on to college at Patricia Stevens in Omaha, NE, and received a public relations degree. She went to work in Colorado Springs, CO, and shortly thereafter started her Mary Kay career. Paulette won multiple awards, cars, and prizes as she worked her way up to Mary Kay Director.
Survivors include her prior husband, Steve Comer; her parents, Ann and Don Kudrna of Leigh, NE; her sister, Roxanne Bayer of Marysville, KS; and nieces: Karlie (Bill) Nuss of Norfolk, NE; April Bayer of Lincoln, NE; Sarah (Jarrod) Phillips of Seward, NE; and Meranda Kudrna of Columbus, NE; and faithful friends and caregivers that Paulette considered family. Preceded in death by her grandparents: Lloyd and Alvina Kudrna and Bill and Laura Meyer; brother, James Kudrna; brother-in-law, Mike Bayer.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 19, 2022, 9-10 am, at Swan-Law Funeral Directors in Colorado Springs, CO. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 2022, at 10 am, at Swan Law Funeral Directors in Colorado Springs, CO, with Pastor Doubrava officiating.
The final resting place will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Leigh, NE.
