Nathan Robert Welch

Nathan Robert Welch, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2020. Born in Colorado Springs. CO on January 21, 1978, Nathan was the first of six children born to Scott and Gerri (Wolfe) Welch.

Nathan graduated from Widefield High School in 1997 before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2003 from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. A self-proclaimed tech geek, Nathan worked in IT and Project Management before choosing to pursue his passion of photography.

Family and friends were Nathan’s constant focus. He enjoyed road trips and traveling with his family as well as watching football, four-wheeling, and playing poker with his friends. The first to offer help, Nathan inspired confidence in those fortunate enough to know him.

Nathan leaves behind to cherish his memory, devoted wife, Breanna (Mark), and loving children, Andrew Clarke, Aurora Welch, Alexa Welch, Aidan Welch, and Alexander Welch; parents Scott and Gerri Welch; siblings, Joshua (Alicia), Melissa, Elisabeth, Jonathan, and Kimberly; sister-in-law Megan (Tony) Meyer, as well as a host of wonderful aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will take place Saturday, December 19, 2020, from 10 AM - 11 AM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO.
