1939 – 2018
Nancy was born a farm girl in Roeland Park, Kansas to Ralph and Martha Stumpff. She grew up with a large, extended family. After her first husband, Frank Wesley, died of cancer, she married Philip Miceli, and they moved to Colorado to be close to her family.
Nancy was a master gardener, and a gifted portrait and landscape artist. In her early years she attended the Kansas City Art Institute. She also enjoyed her community and keeping up with politics.
She will be remembered most for her creativity and independent nature.
Nancy is survived by her husband Philip, her two daughters, Susan Dewey of Colorado Springs and Mary Bisges of Acworth, Georgia. Her stepchildren Christopher Miceli and Juliann Lemon both live in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Nancy is also survived by many grandchildren, as well as her sister Margie Reynolds of Longmont, Colorado.
Funeral service March 9, 3pm, at Sacred Heart Church, 2021 W. Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, CO. Reception afterward.
