Marion McDonough passed away February 23, 2016 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 91.
Marion was born and raised in Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin, the youngest of eleven children. She attended secretarial school and worked as a legal secretary. Marion married in 1951 to her military husband and spent many years travelling throughout the United States and Europe. The family moved to Colorado Springs in 1972, where Marion spent the rest of her days. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, both at home and travelling to San Diego, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Cayman Islands.
Marion is survived by her six children, Michael McDonough, Patty Meyer, Peggy Jasinski, Brad McDonough, Bridget McDonough, Andi McDonough; brother Harold Huberty; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert McDonough.
Marion was extremely loved by everyone who met her. She will be missed deeply by her family and all who knew her. At her request, there will be a private mass and burial. A celebration of life will be held at the family home, 801 N. Hancock, Colorado Springs, 80903 starting at 3pm on Wednesday, March 2nd.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Pikes Peak Hospice.
