Louis was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. After graduating from Littleton High School, he attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. It was there he received an Associate’s Degree in culinary arts and a Cordon Bleu. During summers in college, Louis utilized his skills for Feyline Corporation, cooking for such notables as Elton John and The Rolling Stones. Louis went on to be a chef at Briarhurst Manor and several other of Colorado Springs best restaurants before joining King Soopers as a Deli Chef and Butcher. As a young man, Louis was a winning soccer player on several teams in the Springs. He was a lifelong fisherman, and in his later years, he loved to play guitar with family and friends, gardening, and taking road trips with his wife. He is survived by his loving wife, Nora, and son, Dylan; as well as his sister Cindy and brother Stephen. He will be missed by all who loved him.
