She graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1943 and from Blair Business College in 1944.
After Business College, she worked for Maytag Rocky Mountain Company and First National Bank. She later worked for the Air Force at 15th Air Force, Air Defence Command, and NORAD. She retired from NORAD.
After Katherine became a Christian, she had a love for Bible Study, and while working, she taught Bible Study during the lunch hour for many years and continued after retirement. One of her favorite Bible verses was "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." 1 John 4:10.
Katherine attended Northeast Bible Chapel for many years. She loved attending there and met any lovely friends. She was greatly blessed.
Survivors include brothers, George Demos and Nick Demos, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Memorial Service will be held April 28th, 2023, 11:00 am, at Northeast Bible Chapel, 1722 N. McArthur, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Swan-Law is handling funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Bible Chapel or to Camp Elim, Woodland Park, Colorado.
