Jordan Allen Maddox White, beloved son, brother, grandson, friend and Soldier passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 30, 1997, the first of two children to Larry and Felicia White.
Jordan graduated from Fountain-Fort Carson High School in 2015. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman. After graduation of basic training and Advanced Individual Training, Jordan was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) where he obtained the rank of Private First Class (PFC) and earned the coveted Air Assault badge. PFC White completed a five month deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) in Iraq.
Family, friends, sports and animals were extremely important to Jordan. He would always lend a hand to whom ever needed it. He always displayed an unparalleled loved for animals, from his own yellow Labrador named "Harley" to strays in Iraq. He would always faithfully cheer for his FFC Trojans (Alma Mater), the Pittsburgh Steelers and his beloved Texas Longhorns.
Jordan's unconditional love, compassion and overall outlook on life will forever leave a lasting impression on those have had the privilege to know and love him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, devoted loving mother, Felicia D. White; devoted loving father, Larry L.White; loving brother, Lawson A. White; loving grandparents, Jay and Georgia Maddox and Larry and Donna White; as well as a host of wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fellow Soldiers.
In Lieu of flowers donations in Jordan’s name can be made to one of the following: Hero Miles, Luke Wings, The Green Beret Foundation, The Special Forces Association, Home Front Cares, The Special Forces Charitable TRUST AND The Task Force Dagger Foundation.
Funeral Service to be held at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, CO. 80903 at 10am on Saturday, September 9, 2017, The funeral home will open for public to start arriving at 9:15am.
