Harold was born on August 14, 1930 to the late David and Fern Palmer in Kendall, Kansas.
He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1951-1955. After which he opened his own barbershop in Colorado Springs which he owned and operated for over 40 years. He also enjoyed calling and teaching square dancing throughout Colorado until 2004.
Harold will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and making people smile with his endless supply of jokes and tall tales.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ila Palmer, son, Jeff (Debbie) Palmer and Daughter Shannon (BC) Stevenson, 4 grandchildren, Sherri, Sean, Schellee and J.D. and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, with a reception to follow.
Donations may be made in Harold's name to Interim Hospice.
