Greg was born on July 13, 1952 in Middleton. Wisconsin. He graduated from Coronado High School, served honorably in the United States Military, and was married to his high school sweetheart Terry Castro Boyd. He helped build many homes and buildings in Colorado and California. Greg liked hiking, fishing and anything outdoors. He enjoyed sports, but mostly spending time with his wife Terry.
Greg is survived by wife Terry, brother Rick, sister's Janet and Margret. He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine, father Victor, brothers Norbert and Paul, sisters Julie and Mary.
Greg was a man of immeasurable honor. He lived his life with sincere integrity and a great love and kindness for all of life. Those who knew him knew he had gentle soul, a heart of pure gold, an ease for laughter and although quiet, we all cherished his wisdom and witticism. He was an amazing human being and we will miss him with a great depth of sorrow.
He is now reunited with his good friends, many family members, and tossing a ball with his precious pup Ruby.
Quotes that remind me of my brother:
“It's that heart of gold, and soul stardust shine that makes you beautiful.”
~ R.M. Broderick
“As for men, they must learn bravery and live for Pleasure and for Beauty. More important than those two things should stand only one thing for him... Honor. A man's honor should be more sacred to him than his life — especially in our age, a time when very few men know what honor is.”
~ Roman Payne
“Honesty is telling the truth to ourselves and others. Integrity is living that truth.”
~ Kenneth H. Blanchard
“Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.”
~ Lao-Tzu
