Glenda Maye Kraemer

Glenda grew up on a working cattle ranch in Texas. She met and married Werner Kraemer in 1962 and then moved to Memmingen, Germany after Werner completed pilot training. They enjoyed six years in Germany before returning to the United States. Glenda has been a Colorado Springs resident since 1977. She was a sales associate at Kmart for 22 years until her retirement in 2004 at which time she became a full time grandma.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Werner; sons Michael (Marni) and Max; granddaughter Reagan Maye Kraemer of Colorado Springs; and brother, George Kidwell of San Angelo, Texas.

She was dedicated to her family and was lovingly referred to as “Granny”. She was passionate about her rose garden, cooking, and sewing. She was an animal lover all of her life and also leaves behind her two dachshunds.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Drive, Colorado Springs, CO.
