Gary Garcia, master machinist and life-long resident of Colorado Springs died unexpectedly on March 15, 2020 at the age of 60.
Gary is survived by his siblings Irene Anaya, Ray Garcia (Joni) and Rick Garcia (Lorraine) all of Colorado Springs. Gary is also survived by nieces and nephews Jacquelyn Raye (Roland), Jerry Duran, Julio Garcia and Mercedes Garcia as well as great nieces and nephews O'Mari, Aizlin, Jacob, Mila, Ziah and Montez. He is preceded in death by his parents Ignacio "Nash" and Floraida "Flora" Garcia.
Gary was born in Rocky Ford, CO on March 26, 1959. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his dogs. Gary's favorite athlete was Michael Jordan. Gary will be remembered for his loving and caring spirit and the unending kindness he showed to others. Gary loved his family and always preached the importance of families sticking together.
A celebration of Gary's life will occur at a time and a place yet to be determined in the summer of 2020. Rest in Heaven Dear Gary!!
