Frank was born on 30 October, 1938 to Addie Sue and Carlis Allison in San Antonio, Texas. After attending high school and college for a time, Frank would then begin his military career.
Frank proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force during times of war and peace. Frank graduated from California Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Frank retired from TRW Manufacturing after 20 years of work. He continued working for the U.S. Government and its contractors for years after retirement. He was committed to his faith in God, truly loved our country, and supported those who served.
In 1977, Frank met Patricia, at TRW. Frank and Pat enjoyed 43 years of marriage. They favored summer cook-outs, decorating for the holidays, and spending time with family and friends. He always took plenty of time to relax with Old Western programs and game shows.
Frank was predeceased by his sister, Jeannie. He is survived by his children, Steve Allison, Cathy Allison, Amy Bernhard, Aaron Dilmore and Audra Darcy, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and his brother, Jimmy.
Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, on 20 March, 2023 at 1PM. He will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at a later time.
Flowers are welcome, or, donations can be made to St. Jude or The Wounded Warrior Foundation; both were organizations that Frank donated to for many, many years.
He will be remembered as a truly good man, who shared a great bond with everyone who came to know him.
