Eugene Romero passed away on Saturday, May 8th, 2010. He is a native of Colorado Springs. Eugene graduated in 1969 from Fountain Fort Carson High School. He worked forty years at Hewlett Packard, Agilent and National Syncreon.
Eugene was pre-deceased by his mother and father. He is survived by his son, Dustin Michael Romero, 35 years old and granddaughter, Hanna Nadeen Smyth, 17 years old.
He is also survived by his siblings, Fred Romero of Colorado Springs; Betty Pacheco of Fountain, Albert Vialpando of Widefield, Shirley Barron of Colorado Springs, Carmen Tafoya of Colorado Springs, Josephine Coulter of Colorado Springs and Angela Miranda of Colorado Springs.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 22 W. Kiowa Street, Colorado Springs, CO on Monday, May 17, 2010.
