Eric Parra was born in Napa, CA but moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado at age four so he always considered Colorado Springs his home. He attended Doherty High School and learned many trades after high school to include plumbing, roofing, automotive repair and construction. He also lived in Denver, Golden and Pueblo, Colorado – Pearland, Texas – Anacortes, Washington – Millington, Tennessee and lastly in Kearney, Nebraska.
Eric was a loving son, brother, father and husband. He is survived by his loving family, Daughter Kaydence Rayne Parra, Mother Lizette Thornton and Stepfather Douglas Thornton, Father John Parra and Stepmother Jenelle Parra, Brother Christopher Parra and Sister-in-Law Sheri Parra with Nieces Makaila and Haily Parra, Brother Shawn Parra and Sister-in-Law Tabitha Parra with Nephew Wyatt and Niece Cassidy. Also survived by his Grandmothers Delfina Gutierrez and Joanne Comer, Aunt Evelyn Andrade, Cousins Jason and Josh Andrade, and Stepsisters and Stepbrother Carolann, Emilyann and Ashleyann Thornton and Abigail Reid and William Covington.
Funeral Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Home – 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm followed by Burial Service at Evergreen Cemetery – 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
