Donna M. McKnight

Donna M. McKnight passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the age of 88. She was the youngest child of Albert J. and Delphine Normandin Prescott. Her sisters, C. Doris Mihalich and Jean Hyde, preceded her in death along with her parents and her husband, Robert L. McKnight. She is survived by her daughter, Diane K. Romero (Glenn), her three grandchildren, Nicholas (Carrie), Paul, and Delaina, and her great granddaughter, Nora.

Donna was born in Duluth, Minnesota and grew up on Park Point on the shore of Lake Superior. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica and raised her daughter in Colorado Springs. In addition to being a devout Catholic, she was a very talented artist who enjoyed traveling the world with her daughter. Donna touched many lives and deeply loved her family and friends. She will be remembered for her generosity, elegance, support, and love, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

On Thursday, March 14th, the viewing will be held between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service and rosary immediately following at 7:00 p.m. at Swan-Law Mortuary. The funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15th, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Swan-Law is located at 501 North Cascade Avenue, and Corpus Christi Catholic Church is located at 2318 North Cascade Avenue.
