Dianne Peace a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister entered into God's loving arms peacefully at Sunrise on March 12, 2018 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dianne was born in Chicago, Illinois March 1950, and was the oldest daughter of four siblings. Her family relocated from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA when she was 15. Dianne attended El Camino College earning an Early Childhood Education Certification. Upon graduating, she began her career as an ESL teacher. She married David Peace in 1975 and they began their family with children in 1981. Dianne enjoyed being around friends and family and was extremely devoted to God. She enjoyed reading her Bible and attending church services. Dianne loved her job as an Educational Assistant working with elementary grade levels for 13 years in Colorado Springs.
She leaves behind her loving husband, David, of 42 years; 2 daughters: Desiree and Elizabeth and their spouses; her mother Jennie, 6 grandchildren: Zach, Jon, Micheal, Briella, Alexa, and Brennely; 2 sisters: Jeanette (Tom), Linda, and Brother Tony (Trece), 2 nieces Janeal and Amaris, and 2 nephews Lucas and Rocco.
A Celebration of Life and Candle Light Service will be held in Dianne's Honor on Thursday March 15, 2018 from 5:30 pm until 7:30pm at Mountain View Mortuary in Colorado Springs.
Funeral Services will be held the following day, Friday March 16, 2018 at Mountain View Mortuary at 12:30pm with burial service to follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery.
