Christine passed away at home in the early morning hours of May 22nd, after her battle with lung cancer. She was born on April 3, 1929 to George & Suzanne Alzner. She is survived by daughters Christine & Susie, both of Colorado Springs, 4 grandchildren Jeff, Anthony (Elizabeth), Nick, Logan (Allyson) and Kathryn Patterson (Aaron). Christine is also survived by 5 great grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren, and 5 siblings in Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, daughter Barbara, and grandsons Brian and Jason. Christine will always be remembered for her generosity. She always made sure everyone had enough to eat. She was truly the "hostess with the mostess." She loved cooking and baking & she was famous for her Christmas cookies. She had the most contagious laugh and loved playing cards with her daughters or with siblings when they came to visit from Canada. Her kindness and loving nature will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
