Robert Arnold, 84, of Colorado City, TX went home to his Heavenly Father at 1:10 p.m. May 21, 2010. Born October 26, 1925 in Sharonville, Ohio, Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years of the home, Estella.
Bob is also survived by daughters, Carol Pearson of California; Gail Tajali of Kentucky; Catherine Kohl of Texas; Robin Ward of Texas; grandchildren Nicole Spence of California; James Spence of Arizona; Robert Ward, Midland, Texas; Benjamin Kohl, US Army, Georgia; Alexander Kohl, US Navy, USS Washington; twin sister, JoAnn Mandzak of New York, as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Bill Arnold, his daughter April Elizabeth Arnold and his brother Russell Arnold. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps, was wounded on Okinawa, awarded Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citations and several other medals. Following recuperation from war wounds, he attended Southeastern University Washington, DC and worked in the home construction and mortgage industry most of his lifetime.
Pall Bearers will be Grandsons James O’D. Spence, II, Private Benjamin C. Kohl, Robert S. Ward.
Bob will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Visitation at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Monday, May 24, 2010 from 6:00-7:30 p.m., funeral services in their chapel 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 with Pastor Chris Stephens and burial to follow in the Loraine Cemetery with a Marine Corps detail.
