She was born in Loraine, Texas on August 17, 1941 to Dave and Ollie House Jackson.
Frances grew up in Loraine, graduating from Loraine High School in 1959 before moving to Colorado City, where she met and married the love of her life Richard “Dickie” White on March 16, 1965. Frances was a great mother and grandmother who raised 3 boys, putting them through college in order to give them the best life they could possibly have. Many people got to see Frances on a daily basis at the City National Bank where she would greet them with a warm smile and take care of their banking needs as a bank teller. She was a very witty and intelligent woman, always looking for bargains and clipping her coupons before she would go shopping. In her spare time Frances enjoyed watching her sports, especially the Rangers, the cowboys, and the Mavericks. She also enjoyed watching Mark Martin zip around the race track and going to Kenny Chesney concerts.
Frances is survived by her sons Gary white and wife Nikki of Midlothian, Randy White and wife Christi of Brock, and Brad White of Midland. She is also survived by her grandchildren Landon White, Brayden White, Colby White, Gage White, Brett White, Sarah Hancock, Brittany Jones, and Bradley Stapleton, and by great-grandchildren Grayson White, Winston White, and Porter Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Ollie Jackson, by her husband Dickie White, and by her sister Faye Nell Herm.
A funeral for Frances will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 2 pm in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Reamy from Calvary Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 12 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery.
