Christopher Michael Polanco

He was born to Israel and Magdalena Sosa Polanco on January 17, 1974 in Monahans, Texas.

Michael was a fun-loving man, who loved his God, loved his family, and loved his dogs. He was a cook by trade, enjoyed cooking for many events including at home for his family, as cooking was his passion, especially barbequing, while he loved his family, he especially loved his nieces and nephews and would dress as Santa for them at Christmas time. In his spare time, he could be found listening to Rock-n-Roll music and whipping something up on the stove or on the barbeque pit, watching television, especially pit master shows to keep his skills fresh, watching Cobra-Kai, or YouTube or just kicking back to have a few cold ones. He will be deeply missed by those that loved him.

He is survived by the love of his life Janie Gonzales of Abilene, TX and her children Elias Gonzales of Abilene, Emilio Gonzales of Colorado City, Oscar Gonzales and wife Breanna of Loraine, and Nadia Gonzales of Abilene and their 11 grandchildren by his father Israel Polanco and wife Aida of Big Spring, his mother Magdalena Aydelott and husband Tony of Virginia Beach, Virginia, brothers Joseph Polanco Sr. and wife Carol of Colorado City, Arik Polanco and wife Lissette of Raeford N.C., and Sgt. Matthew Aydelott of Fort Bragg, N.C., his sister Emily Aydelott of Virginia Beach, VA and Aunts, Uncle, and Several Nieces and Nephews. Also, and his fur baby Lola.

Proceeded in death by his grandfather Eleuterio R. and grandmother Romona Polanco, of Imperial, TX., and grandfather Antonio and grandmother Juanita Ysalde, of Monahans, Tx.

Mass of Christian Burial for Michael will be held on Saturday, December 31st at 10 am with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating, burial will follow in the Imperial Cemetery in Imperial, TX.

The family will be present for a visitation on Friday, December 30th from 5-7 pm with a rosary to be held at 7 pm in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel.
