She was born in Highland Arkansas on September 11, 1934 to parents Wiley Benton Yancy and Lucy Mae Roberts Yancy.
Beulah was a good Christian woman who loved her God and her family with every bit of her soul. She was a long time member of the Assembly of God Church in Colorado City. Those who attended church with her could attest that she was not only strong in her faith but that she loved her church family. She lived her life by her faith making sure to raise her family proper, teaching them to love their lord and to pray for those in need. After her God Beulah put family as her top priority. On September 22 1951 she married the love of her life Mr. Ernest Dale Anderson who preceded her in death on February 11, 2003, and the 2 of them started their family. She was a model wife, a wonderful mother, an exceptional grandmother, and the best sister a girl could ask for, as she and her sister were best of friends.
In her spare time Beulah enjoyed reading and writing poetry, keeping a red pen in her hair just in case she needed it. She also enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and having family get togethers. Her comforting words, her warm smile, and her daily devotion to pray for her family and anybody in need will be remembered fondly and the memories shared will forever be etched in her family’s hearts.
Beulah is survived by her son Alan Dale Anderson and significant other Virginia Rogers of San Angelo, by a son-in-law Wayland Edwards, by daughters Dana Lynch of Colorado City, and Elizabeth Redwine- Grimes and husband Darren of Lubbock, and by her sister Jo Yancy of Colorado City.
