Marjory was born on December 11, 1937, and raised in Philadelphia, PA and never married.
Whenever asked how she felt, her answer was always “Peachy.” She graduated high school at Friends Select School. Marjory was a tiny person, but she never let that get in her way. At Select, she was the shortest person in her class and had the tallest person in the class as her best friend; they were referred to as “Mutt and Jeff.” She went on to Immaculata College for her bachelor’s degree, then to Drexel for her Masters.
Marjory moved to Florida in the early 1960's and became an administrative assistant to an entrepreneur and worked for him for many years.
She loved to travel and visited many countries all over the world.
A service is planned for November 20 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ, where she will be entombed with her parents and sister.
Marjory’s family would like to send a special thank you to Andrea Mihalyffy and Gail Nickel for being such wonderful friends and taking such wonderful care of Marjory.
In lieu of flowers, Marjory’s family is asking that donations be made to the following two charities:
