Devoted & loving mother of Daniel T. Balsama (Courtney, daughter in law), Liberty (Granddog), beloved sister of Joanne Agostarola, devoted life partner Darryl Mapp and all her loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel & Amelia Agostarola (Messina), her brother Robert Agostarola and her sister-in-law, Gail Donahue.
Denise was a devoted mother to her son, Danny who was truly the “THE APPLE OF HER EYE”.
Denise retired from Independence Blue Cross after a 20 year career. Moving to Lewes, DE after her retirement then recently moving back to Cherry Hill, NJ to be closer to her son.
She was a lover of horses, an artist, talented pianist, and always enjoyed all types of card games. She also enjoyed watching movies on her big screen TV and could quote classic movie lines for any occasion. If you were lucky enough to have Denise as a friend, you were blessed with her loyalty and caring heart, always there to listen and support you.
She fought through many health issues over the last year but COVID was just to much for her to overcome. She is now pain free and joins her beloved family in heaven that is waiting for her with open arms.
