Clay "Sam" Seidel

Age 68 of West Collingswood

Clay Louis Seidel (Sam) of West Collingswood 3/31/1947 passed peacefully on 10/30/2015.

Devoted son of the late Clay B. Seidel and Margaret Seidel (nee Fala). Beloved brother of Robert F. Seidel and Maryann Buck (nee Seidel), brother-in-law to Kenneth Buck. Loving uncle to Mary E. Scharr (Edward), Kenneth C. Buck (Lisa) and Christopher P. Buck. Great uncle to Christopher, Courtney, Juliana and Jasper.

Sam was a graduate of Collingswood High School, Class of 1966. He worked at Campbell Soup Co. for 19 yrs. Retired from Wharton Hardware in 2012. He was a proud member of West Collingswood Volunteer Fire Company and a life-long parishioner of Transfiguration Church in Collingwood. He enjoyed attending his nephews’ football, baseball & soccer games at Holy Cross High School.

He will be forever missed by family and friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, November 5, 11:00 AM at BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, 226 W. Collings Ave. Collingswood, NJ 08108. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home at 12:00 PM. The family respectfully suggests donations in Clay “Sam” L. Seidel’s name to Transfiguration Church and/or Vitas Hospice 18 E. Laurel Rd. Stratford, NJ 08084.
