Stephen LeCornu Routh, age 36, of Memphis, Tennessee went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in his home. He was born on May 9, 1985 in Memphis, TN to Teresa LeCornu and Michael Stephen Routh.
Stephen's position at FedEx was Manager IT/Senior Engineer of Network Core and Backbone Engineering. He was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Wireless Engineering and a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Masters of Business Administration.
Stephen enjoyed playing ice hockey at Collierville High School and continued to play in local adult leagues. He made sure he watched his Auburn Tigers play football every fall season. Stephen loved hunting, auto racing, and had begun a new interest in auto restoration. But he really enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Teresa LeCornu and Michael Stephen Routh; his sister, Jennifer Routh Lewis and brother-in-law Benjamin Hunter Lewis; niece, Aeli Lynn Lewis. He was the oldest grandchild of Armande and Stephen Routh, the late Clifton M. LeCornu, and the late Martha D. LeCornu. His aunts, uncles, and cousins loved him dearly. Everyone that knew Stephen looked up to him, not only because he was so tall (6'5"), but because he was such a kind, humble guy full of wisdom beyond his years.
A service to celebrate Stephen's life will be on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Collierville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am. The celebration service will be at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Collierville United Methodist Church to benefit the Youth Program in Collierville, TN.
