Joe Gene Walker

Joe G. Walker of Piperton, TN, passed away in the early morning hours on June 6, 2022 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a member of Collierville First Baptist Church, Joe was a Christian and a man of faith. He was born December 5, 1930 in Benton County Mississippi in the town of Ashland.

Joe is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Barbara (Bobbie) Graves Walker, their three children; Kent Walker (Sherry), Walt Walker (Carroll), Cliff Walker (Brooke). There are eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services will be held at Collierville Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2022. Visistation will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 pm with the Memorial Services beginning at 2:00 pm followed by military burial at Memorial Park Southwoods on Hacks Cross Road.
