In the early morning hours of Thursday, May 5, 2022, David “Dave” Alan Prince, Sr. passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior. Dave was born and raised in Massachusetts. He entered the United States Navy in 1964, and was later stationed in Memphis, TN. There, he met the love of his life, Patricia Smith. They married in December 1965 and in the coming years welcomed two sons, David Jr. and Mark. They shared a life of 57 years together and made wonderful memories. Dave loved spending time with his grandchildren. They were the light of his life. His most favorite moments were spent on Destin vacations with his family. Dave was an avid sports fan and loved talking about recent games and stats with his grandsons. At any given time, you could find him with two TVs playing, one for shows and one for sports! He loved all teams, but the Bruins, Red Sox, and Celtics had a very special place in his heart. Dave was a kind and gentle soul, a good man. He will be greatly missed by all.
